In fact, she's climbing over the edge of the window...only to stop and look back. Even if she does get into the plane, she didn't know where to go from there. She didn't want to rely on anyone, but some advice couldn't hurt. Besides...it would be wrong to leave someone behind in the mess she helped to make.
So when she spots one of the assassins making a play for Dick's back with a knife, Rapunzel flings out her hair, wrapping it around the assassin. She flings him right at a batch of other assassins, knocking them off their feet and into a wall. She at least has the advantage of surprise with her attack method. ]
